About me

I was just a kid with a passion for looking up at the night sky. As I grew older, my fascination with space only deepened, and I knew that I wanted to dedicate my life to exploring the mysteries of the cosmos. Upon finishing my undergraduate studies, I made the choice to continue my academic pursuits by enrolling in a Master of Science program in Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Institute of Space Technology in Islamabad, Pakistan. During this time, I developed a passion for research and was particularly fascinated by the emerging field of gravitational waves. For my thesis, I explored the event rates of Extreme Mass-Ratio Inspirals (EMRIs) and Intermediate Mass-Ratio Inspirals (IMRIs) in the Milky Way galaxy. It was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience, and I knew that I wanted to continue pursuing research in this field. Following the completion of my master's degree, I voluntarily worked alongside my supervisor, providing support to his graduate students. During this period, I was fortunate enough to work with and inspire young individuals to develop valuable scientific skills and participate in community outreach programs. But my thirst for knowledge was not yet quenched, and I made the decision to pursue a PhD in Astronomy at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland. My research is now centered around the evolution of massive stars, and I am delving into the modern population synthesis of gamma-ray bursts and gravitational-wave event rates. It is a fascinating and stimulating field, and I am glad to be a part of it.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling to scenic spots that boast natural landscapes, with a particular preference for places that have dense greenery and forests. Additionally, I love spending extended periods of time gazing at the sky. Despite my introverted nature, I still manage to engage in social activities every now and then, joining my friends to cook up scrumptious dishes and partake in the delightful aspects of existence.
